Saint Germain fue un adepto dotado de los más grandes poderes. Profetizó ante Luis XV, Luis XVI, y María Antonieta los tempestuosos acontecimientos que se avecinaban para Europa. Poseía el don de la ubicuidad, y se cuenta que podía aparecer en donde se lo necesitara, sin recurrir al uso de las puertas y adivinándolo telepáticamente, cuando era llamado o invocado. Tenía una memoria prodigiosa demostrada no solo en su conocimiento lingüístico, sino también cuando, leyendo rápidamente un largo escrito era capaz de repetirlo palabra por palabra al día siguiente.

Controlaba perfectamente y en forma igual los dos hemisferios de su cerebro, demostrando esto al escribir dos cartas al mismo tiempo, con una mano una carta de amor y con la otra una de alta filosofía. Como músico tenía un talento extraordinario, siendo capaz de tocar todos los instrumentos, aunque el violín era su preferido.

Se lo describe físicamente como bien proporcionado y de peso mediano, con facciones regulares y agradables, cabello negro y tez ligeramente morena, frente amplia y ojos separados. Vestía con elegancia pero en forma sencilla, con ropa algo ceñida y generalmente de color negro. Solía relatar en sus charlas cortesanas experiencias vividas varios siglos y aun milenios atrás, con lo cual provocaba en sus oyentes un enorme asombro, seguido este tanto de escepticismo y la burla, como de la admiración de algunos pocos amigos fieles que tuvo. Actuó también en el terreno de la diplomacia, recordándose especialmente su viaje a la Haya para hacer arreglos de paz con los holandeses por encargo de Luis XI de Francia.

En cuanto al hecho de su muerte, éste es un asunto tan misterioso y lleno de incógnitas como su nacimiento. Oficialmente se dice que murió en casa de su amigo y protector el príncipe Carlos de Hesse Cassel, el 27 de febrero de 1784. ¿Es cierto esto? Si esto es cierto, ¿cómo fue entonces que se apareció en 1789 a Madame de Adhemar para predecir los episodios revolucionarios, y a Rudoplf Graifer en 1790 revelándose sucesos que habían de tener lugar en los siglos XIX y XX, tales como el nacimiento de los ferrocarriles y los barcos a vapor en el siglo XIX y las alteraciones climáticas que vendrán en el fin del ciclo astronómico actual, en las postrimerías del siglo XX?

¿Quién es realmente el Conde de Saint Germain? Las enseñanzas ocultas nos dicen que la individualidad altamente evolucionada que apareció en Europa con ese nombre, llegó al adeptado bajo la vestidura física de hijo del príncipe Rakoczy, habiendo sido antes el filósofo Francis Bacon y antes el también filósofo y científico Roger Bacon.
