Les Amours jaunes est l'unique recueil de poésie du poète maudit Tristan Corbière, publié en 1873 chez Glady frères éditeurs à Paris, et comprenant la quasi-totalité de son oeuvre poétique. Composé de 101 poèmes de tailles et de formes très diversifiées, il est publié à compte d'auteur deux ans avant la mort du poète, à l'âge de 29 ans, et passe totalement inaperçu à l'époque. Structure du recueil Le recueil est composé de 7 parties: "Ça" (3 poèmes), "Les Amours jaunes" (24 poèmes), "Sérénade des sérénades" (14 poèmes), "Raccrocs" (21 poèmes), "Armor" (7 poèmes), "Gens de mer" (17 poèmes), et "Rondels pour après" (6 poèmes). Le recueil s'ouvre et se ferme sur deux poèmes éponymes, "À Marcelle", dédicacés chacun à l'unique muse du poète, Armida-Josefina Cuchiani, qu'il se complaît à appeler sans raison apparente Marcelle tout au long des Amours jaunes. N'appartenant à aucune partie, ces deux pièces sont une variante sur La Cigale et la Fourmi de Jean de La Fontaine, pièce commençant également les Fables. Édouard-Joachim Corbière, dit Tristan Corbière, né le 18 juillet 1845 à Ploujean en Bretagne (aujourd'hui Morlaix) et mort le 1er mars 1875 à Morlaix (Bretagne), est un poète français breton, proche du symbolisme, figure du poète maudit . Auteur d'un unique recueil poétique, Les Amours jaunes, et de quelques fragments en prose, Tristan mène une vie marginale et miséreuse, nourrie de deux grands échecs dus à sa maladie osseuse et sa "laideur" presque imaginaire qu'il se complaît à accuser, celui de sa vie sentimentale (il aima non-réciproquement une seule femme, Marcelle), et celui de sa passion pour la mer (il rêvait de devenir marin, comme son père). Sa poésie porte en elle ces deux grandes blessures qui l'amèneront à choisir un style très cynique et incisif, envers lui-même autant qu'envers la vie et le monde qui l'entourent. Ses vers teintés de Symbolisme et aux idées proches du Décadentisme rejettent et condamnent tous les courants littéraires de son époque, du Romantisme au Parnasse, car leur créateur excentrique se veut indéfinissable, incatalogable, pas être aimé, pas être haï; bref, déclassé de toutes les latitudes . Son écriture poétique est caractérisée par l'abondance de sa ponctuation, son manque de polissage, et son anti-musicalité, le tout rendant un aspect heurté et brut, d'abord perçu comme une impuissance à mieux faire, mais reconnu plus tard comme une déstructuration volontaire du vers ( cassant, concis, cinglant le vers à la cravache ). À la publication en 1873 à compte d'auteur de son unique oeuvre, Les Amours jaunes, il passe totalement inaperçu dans les milieux littéraires de son époque, et il faudra attendre dix ans pour que Paul Verlaine le révèle au grand public dans son essai Les Poètes maudits. Il meurt à 29 ans, peut-être tuberculeux, célibataire sans enfant et sans travail retranché dans son vieux manoir breton, incompris de ses contemporains ( Ah, si j'étais un peu compris ! ), et dont la poésie novatrice ne sera reconnue que bien après sa mort.
