About the Author: Sabine Apfler schloss 1998 ihre Ausbildung zur Volksschullehrerin in Österreich ab. Neben ihrer unterrichtlichen Tätigkeit bildete sie sich umfassend fort und schloss 2011 ihr Studium mit dem akademischen Grad Master of Arts an der Fernuniversität Hagen erfolgreich ab. Durch ihre Arbeit an einer CD-Rom-Reihe für einen Schulbuchverlag, widmete sie sich intensiv der Thematik des Computereinsatzes in der Volksschule und vertiefte sich besonders in den Bereich des Einsatzes von Lernsoftware in Verbindung mit den Bildungsstandards für Mathematik.
