Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Französisch - Pädagogik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 3,0, Staatliches Studienseminar für das Lehramt an beruflichen Schulen, Standort Nordbayern, Veranstaltung: Fachseminar Französisch, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Wie viele ehemalige Schüler würden wohl der Aussage zustimmen, dass sie in ihrer Schulzeit trotz jahrelangem Unterricht in einer Fremdsprache keinen Satz sprechen könnten und sich dies erst geändert habe, als sie nur wenige Wochen in dem Land verbrachten? Jemand, der nicht das Glück hatte, nach Frankreich oder in die USA zu reisen, kam nie in den Genuss und zu dem Erfolgserlebnis, eine jahrelang gelernte Fremdsprache zu praktizieren. Eigentlich darf das doch nicht sein! Es muss doch allen Lernern einer Fremdsprache ermöglicht werden, sich zumindest ansatzweise mündlich zu verständigen. Es tut sich also der Verdacht auf, dass in Deutschlands Schulen nicht immer effektiv genug gelernt wird, was auch in den Pisa-Studien mehrfach bestätigt wurde. Was kann aber der einzelne Lehrer dagegen tun? Als Lehrkraft, sei es im Fremdsprachenunterricht oder in allen anderen Fächern, sollte man den Mut haben, neue Methoden auszuprobieren, Risiken einzugehen und Experimente auszuführen, um seinen eigenen Stil zu finden. Auch unter den gegebenen Bedingungen ist es möglich, dass grundlegende Veränderungen am Lernort Schule initiiert werden. Allerdings bedarf dies einer fundierten Reflexion nicht nur über Unterrichtstechniken, wie es ja schon seit längerer Zeit der Fall ist, sondern über das Lernen im Unterricht überhaupt. Im Rahmen der Referendarsausbildung werden die angehenden Lehrer dazu ermutigt, stets neue Methoden im Unterricht zu erproben und zu reflektieren. Auch diese wissenschaftliche Arbeit untersucht eine Methode, die vor allem im Fremdsprachenunterricht, aber auch in anderen Fächern Eingang gefunden hat.
