Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Schulpädagogik, Note: 1,3, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der Begriff Lernen ist ein hypothetisches Konstrukt. Das bedeutet zum einen, dass er nicht materiell fassbar ist und daher nur durch verschiedene Indikatoren erschlossen werden kann. Zum anderen führt dieser theoretische Zugang dazu, dass sich Lernen auf unterschiedliche Weisen definieren lässt. Die wissenschaftliche Forschung beschäftigt sich bis heute in verschiedenen Disziplinen mit der Frage, was lernen eigentlich bedeutet. Der Fokus dieser Arbeit liegt dabei auf der pädagogischen Perspektive, da sie im Rahmen des grundwissenschaftlichen Teils eines Lehramtsstudiums entstand. In einer von Umfang her stark eingeschränkten Hausarbeit können nicht alle historischen und aktuellen Überlegungen angeführt werden. So wird an zahlreichen Stellen sowohl im historischen als auch im erziehungswissenschaftlichen Kontext auf weiterführende Literatur verwiesen. Die Entscheidung für die Auswahl der in der Arbeit gewählten Ansätze erfolgte auf Grundlage des von Frau Dr. Seifert im Sommersemester 2012 an der Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main gehaltenen Seminars "Was bedeutet Bildung?" Im ersten Teil der Hausarbeit wird der Begriff des Lernens von verwandten Begriffen des Erziehungswissenschaften wie Bildung und Erziehung abgegrenzt. Im zweiten Teil werden diese Erkenntnisse genutzt, um behavioristische, kognitionspsychologische und konstruktivistische Lerntheorien vor dem jeweiligen historischen Hintergrund zu beschreiben. Im dritten Teil werden einige Definitionen des Begriffs Lernen vorgestellt und anhand der Ergebnisse der vorangegangenen Abschnitte kritisch hinterfragt. Im Schlusskapitel werden die wesentlichen Erkenntnisse zusammengefasst und ein Versuch unternommen, die im Untertitel dieser Arbeit implizierte Frage nach einer eindeutigen Definition von Lernen zu beantworten.
