About the Book

The Age of Sigmar has dawned, and across the Mortal Realms, the forces of Order and Chaos battle for supremacy.

It is not only the Stormhosts of Sigmar who fight for control of the Mortal Realms. Many other peoples, those pledged to Order and others to Chaos, wage war on behalf of gods and kings. From the grim duardin Fyreslayers of the mountain lodges to the enigmatic and otherworldly sylvaneth of Alarielle's court, and even the wretched skaven of diseased Clans Pestilens - all must play their part in the struggles to come, forging their own legends in the Age of Sigmar... This diverse omnibus contains stories by some of Black Library's most popular authors, including David Annandale, Guy Haley, David Guymer, Robbie MacNiven, Josh Reynolds, Rob Sanders and Gav Thorpe.
About the Author: David Annandale is the author of the Horus Heresy novel The Damnation of Pythos, along with the Grey Knights books Sons of Titan and Warden of the Blade. He also writes the Yarrick series, consisting of the novella Chains of Golgotha and the novels Imperial Creed and The Pyres of Armageddon. He is the author of three volumes in The Beast Arises series: The Last Wall, The Hunt for Vulkan and Watchers in Death.

David Guymer is the author of the Gotrek & Felix novels City of the Damned, Kinslayer and Slayer, along with a plethora of short stories set in the worlds of both Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000. He also wrote Echoes of the Long War, the sixth novel in The Beast Arises series. He is a freelance writer and occasional scientist based in the East Riding, and was a finalist in the 2014 David Gemmell Legend Awards for his Warhammer novel Headtaker.

Guy Haley is the author of the Space Marine Battles novel Death of Integrity, the Warhammer 40,000 novels Valedor and Baneblade, and The Beast Arises novel Throneworld. His enthusiasm for all things greenskin has also led him to pen the eponymous Warhammer novel Skarsnik, as well as the End Times novel The Rise of the Horned Rat. He has also written a number of stories set in Warhammer's new Age of Sigmar setting.

Robbie MacNiven is a highland-born History graduate from the University of Edinburgh whose hobbies include re-enacting, football and obsessing over Warhammer 40,000. For Black Library, he has written the Deathwatch short story 'Redblade' from Deathwatch: Ignition and the Warhammer 40,000 novel Carcharadons: Red Tithe, along with the short tales 'A Song for the Lost' and 'Blood and Iron'.

Josh Reynolds is the author of the Warhammer 40,000 novel Fabius Bile: Progenitor, along with the Blood Angels novel Deathstorm and the White Scars novellas Hunter's Snare and Dante's Canyon. In the Warhammer world, he has written the End Times novels The Return of Nagash and Lord of the End Times, the Gotrek & Felix tales Charnel Congress, Road of Skulls and The Serpent Queen, and the Time of Legends novels Neferata and Master of Death.

Rob Sanders is the author of The Serpent Beneath, a novella that appeared in the New York Times bestselling Horus Heresy anthology The Primarchs. His other Black Library credits include two novels in The Beast Arises series - Predator, Prey and Shadow of Ullanor - along with the Warhammer 40,000 novels Adeptus Mechanicus, Legion of the Damned and Atlas Infernal. He has also written the Warhammer fantasy Archaon duology, Everchosen and Lord of Chaos.

Gav Thorpe is the author of the Horus Heresy novels Deliverance Lost and Angels of Caliban, as well as the novellas Corax: Soulforge and Ravenlord. He is particularly well known for his Dark Angels stories, which includes the Legacy of Caliban trilogy. For Warhammer, Gav has penned the End Times novel The Curse of Khaine and The Sundering trilogy.
