As the panic and anger set in he could hardly manage to thing straight he just knew it would all depend upon him now not to make any mistakes.he would just have to lay low for a while and gather his thoughts before deciding what to do next. His biggest fear would be his own death due to starvation as the young alfa wolf had neverhad to kill for food he had always had his father the great king of all wolves to do that for him. The mighty Kerbleizh had always been an undisputed hunter, a perfect protector and had provided him well. Now that the king had been slain along with all the wolves in the colony kerloup must face the fact that he was the last of his kind and destitute. Once heaving reached the profound depths of solitude and feeling orphaned he knew that from his own weaknesses a newly found strength would emerge. Just a glimmer of hope was all he had and would help him in his ordeal of survival. Although he was constantly aware of his own inability, due to his lack of confidence and inapt experience in the art of survival, his present state of mind lead to the insecurity and would question his right to such a life. It would be far easier to abandon his plight completely and join the rest of his sort and family in the afterlife and leave this wicked world for good. Just when he was on the verge of suicide he would meet the first of his spiritual guides that would lead him eventually to his salvation. The majestic Nordic Harfang Snowy white owl, the only bird of prey not frightened by the wolf would accompany him through his ordeal and with his wisdom and knowledge could guide him to his illfated destiny. Owl was in fact an Avatar of the Old Father Time who would become a major character in this legend and was partly responsible for the death of beloved father. First he would need waterin order to survive and owl would be there at his side to show him the way. Then once having made contact with water KERLOUP would discover access to the divine powers of the spirit of kerbleizh who would reveal his unique quest. Kerloup would have to be strong in order to survive but he alone had been chosen by the powers at be because of his pure innocence and naivity. He would not be alone in his plight the wildlife would be there to aid him in his quest especially wherefood was concearned. The word was out kerloup heir to the throne had survived and the creatures of the animal kingdom were ready to help. But what they didn't know was that kerloup had been destined for a far more important mission that was imperative to the futre of the planet earth. Father time had chosen him well, he needed all the help he could muster. If he failed in his plight the planet would be destroyed if somehow they managed to overcome the evil superpowers then maybe they would all see another day.
