En el libro se discute los conceptos básicos de la legislación protectora del trabajo en Puerto Rico con las enmiendas y cambios que impuso al derecho de trabajo la Reforma Laboral de 2017.Estudiar los elementos básicos de la legislación protectora del trabajo y las leyes que prohíben el discrimen en el empleo. Se analizan ligeramente las estructuras y las partes involucradas en las relaciones obrero patronales en las relaciones laborales en el ámbito laboral con el objetivo de mantener la paz laboral. El libro está diseñado para utilizar la legislación laboral como herramienta de las relaciones obrero patronal con el objetivo de mantener la paz laboral y evitar costos de litigaciónla mayoría de los pleitos judiciales entre patrono y trabajadores en las pequeñas y medianas empresas se debe al desconocimiento de la legislación protectora del trabajo por parte de gerencia en ocasiones también a nuestro afán popular por el ]ay bendito]. Estas empresas, con poca o ninguna representación de un departamento de recursos humanos realizan actos que constituyen violaciones a la ley laboral no con la intención de hacer daño al trabajador sino mas bien por el propio desconocimiento de la ley. Estas acciones pueden ser onerosas cuando surge una reclamación laboral no solo por las penalidades de que impone la ley sino también por los altos costos del litigio. A esta situación se le suma que el acceso a los servicios laborales, orientación y asesoría legal resultan ser inaccesibles a pequeñas empresas y trabajadores. Estoy convencido de que los patronos y trabajadores tengan acceso a orientación legal a un costo razonable para que sea una herramienta vital en el mundo laboral y en la consecución de un ambiente de trabajo solidario con una sociedad justa y democrática. Urge que la comunidad se oriente sobre la legislación protectora del trabajo y que reconozcan que la dignidad del ser humano es inviolable para convivir en el mundo trabajo en paz y armonía donde todos los seres humanos puedan aportar lo mejor de sí sin distinción alguna; de este modo, tanto la empresa como los trabajadores lograrán maximizar sus capacidades y utilidades.Pretendemos masificar el conocimiento de las leyes protectoras del trabajo para que tanto los patronos como los trabajadores conozcan sus derechos y obligaciones en el mundo de trabajo libre de costo o a un costo generosamente accesible.
