When a tragic turn of events removes Pastor Jones from the pulpit, it's just the beginning of what will come to pass in Charlestown. While he recovers from a chronic heart attack, his son Jones Jr. fills in for him at the big church and uses his position as acting pastor to rebel against his father and influence the young folks to abandon their Christianity. Pastor Jones becomes outraged by his son's disobedience and gives him an ultimatum. Jones Jr. and his young followers decide to leave town on what they think is a freedom adventure.
They find themselves lost, confused, and fighting to stay alive. The ones who die return to their home town as disgruntled spirits in search of retribution. They brought with them a generational curse of sexual deviance that threatened to destroy all of Charlestown. Meanwhile Jones Jr. believing that he is the only survivor, feels too much guilt to return home, and sets off to join his estranged Uncle Tom. To break the curse and keep it from passing on to the next generation, Pastor Jones, his son, and all the townsfolk must reclaim their faith, or make the ultimate sacrifice...
My natal birth chart determined there were family secrets, which led me to research my family lineage. I discovered that my great, great grandfather was a Dutch slavemaster, a Pastor, and a Justice of the Peace. I suddenly realized that all the unusual stories I'd been writing were all about him and the people he'd encountered during his lifetime. How could this be? How could I know all thesedetails of his life so intuitively? These questions only led to more questions. The only obvious answer was that I was somehow "channeling" my ancestor(s), but why?
