About the Author: Tobius Thobile Poswa comes from a humble family background. He worked hard beginning as a night school matric student and a messenger and cleaner with a big dream. He is a strong believer that "...when you apply your mind to anything and give it your best and rely upon God, nothing can stand in your way." Tobius does not only believe in but has experienced the power of leading by Spiritual influence. He is an accredited and ordained Minister in the Assemblies of God, Southern African where he has and still ministers to its various branches. His primary mission is to develop other leaders as a service to God and a contribution to nation building. Tobius is a leader with multi-disciplinary experience. He has acquired many skills over a number of years as a professional, an academic leader and a servant of God. He is well respected in his profession for his contributions and is a firm believer in a participatory leadership style and his major leadership projects include: Serving as the South African project leader and in-country facilitator on the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) as Trainer of Trainers. This project taught him facilitation techniques and skills to develop others. He participated in leading during the early merger of higher institutions in South Africa (Natal & ML Sultan Technikons) where he gained insight in leading in a multicultual environment. He develop and implemented a turn-around strategy for the re-accreditation of the Mangosuthu University of Technology's Environmental Health programme. He successfully guided various church building projects through strong faith in God. These projects taught him the rewarding experience of obedience to God and the power of faith in God in challenging situations. Tobius has played leading roles both as a professional academic and a minister. He made scholarly contributions to community, youth and environmental health matters. He has co-authored a well received book entitled "Teenagers' Challenges and Solutions: A Psycho-Spiritual Approach" and published and presented papers in various forums. He holds a Master's of Commerce degree in Project Leadership and Management from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (UKZN) and a Master's degree in Technology: Environmental Health from the Durban University of Technology. He also holds a number of Leadership and Management qualifications.
