Leaders Lost is a fresh and sobering first-hand non-fiction account of one man's challenges when faced
with reprisal being forced upon him by his aviation squadron CO and further exacerbated by a negligent
Navy, government IG, congressional office, and several other Shipmates who stood by while it
happened. The scene of the story takes place over the course of about eight years and documents his
journey through the trials and tribulations of backstabbing, bureaucratic nonsense, and the twilight zone
of reasonably good people insisting upon knowing what the right thing is to do and then doing the exact
opposite. Leaders Lost represents a play on words where the Leaders that became Lost for political
reasons and not having a spine directly contributed to the decisions and conditions set into motion
which led to some incredible Leaders actually being Lost in unnecessary and preventable aircraft
MISHAPS. His vitriol towards detrimental status quo and those that support it refreshes the instincts to
once again question authority especially when it's tough. At its heart however the story shows the
importance of believing in yourself, not giving up, and trusting in those that help and support you to get
you through the hard times.
