LEAD WITH TRUST AND INSPIRATION; BE A LEADER OTHERS CHOOSE TO FOLLOW.
Trust your staff; don't micromanage them.
What qualities make a successful corporate leader? We hear a lot about different leadership philosophies, but is there truly a style that is better than the others? There isn't a single, all-around best leadership style, in my opinion.
Having said that, there are certain traits that all effective leaders possess, such as the capacity to foster trust, the vision to advance a firm, and the foresight to give the training needed by people to achieve that vision.
Building trust is essential. People won't follow someone as their leader unless they have faith in them on moral and ethical grounds in addition to academic ones. Similarly, individuals won't follow someone unless they have faith in their ability to navigate their way there.
Entrepreneurs frequently say, "I lead by example," when asked to describe their leadership style. They mean, "I work hard, long hours, and will take on any task." Setting a good example is important, but it isn't the be-all and end-all. Employees are intelligent. They are able to distinguish between productive activity and pointless bustle. Don't do well what you shouldn't do at all is one of my favorite bits of leadership advice because of this.
I believe that setting a good example can sometimes hide a reluctance to let go. A true leader not only fosters trust in those who follow but also reciprocates that trust. You must give up the Command and Power style of leadership, get over your fear of ceding control, and let others take the reins if you want to lead successfully in the modern period. An employee is more likely to take on responsibility and contribute more to the organization when he perceives that his manager has faith in him.
Ironically, real leaders are aware that their organization needs more than one leader-someone besides themselves. They are aware that every person inside a company ought to act as the leader in various circumstances. The real kicker is that effective leaders are also accountable for developing and assisting their followers in taking on leadership responsibilities.
A business consultant friend of mine frequently refers to "the three Ps" people, process, and program. The program represents your goals and strategy. To do this, you must create a process that enables you to consistently provide the necessary results. You need the appropriate people, people who trust your leadership, to see the process through.
Making personal adjustments is one of the most difficult leadership challenges. Too many business owners choose to accept subpar performance instead of taking action. True leaders are prepared to eject some people in order to ensure that they have the "proper people on the bus." What does it say about your leadership style if you can put up with mediocrity?
This book is all about leading with trust and inspiration in a new world. The strategy is as follows:

- Eight pitfalls that Trust and inspire leaders must be conscious of.

That leader can come from you. Everyone needs it: our coworkers, businesses, families, friends, and society. This is a more effective way to live and a new way to lead.
