About the Book

English summary: Adalbert Stifter was well-known in nineteenth-century France for his novels, especially L'Arriere-saison, but also wrote a number of short stories. The three stories presented in this volume depict characters transformed by nature, as forests and mountains bring them to a form of moral beauty and peace in their love.
About the Author: Nicolas Moutin est professeur en lycee.
