  • "La Bractéate d'Or" Tout débute à Londres en 1910 avec la jeune Margareth sortant de détention. Cette "suffragette" aux méthodes peu orthodoxes rentrera en possession d'une bractéate d'or, une monnaie du Ve siècle, à l'effigie d'une bien étrange créature. Ce récit est un hommage direct à une nouvelle bien connue de Lovecraft "Le Cauchemar d'Innsmouth".
  • "Le Signe des Anciens" Après un détournement d'avion, Nattan, un homme a priori ordinaire, découvre qu'une guerre secrète se joue entre deux factions et qu'il est le dernier espoir pour sauver l'Humanité. J'ai commencé à imaginer ce récit il y a plus de dix ans et l'ai écrit dans une forme légèrement atypique. J'espère que vous relirez cette nouvelle au moins deux fois pour valider vos plus folles théories.
  • "L'Hôtel" Un commercial itinérant vit la plus singulière des nuits dans un hôtel au nord du Mexique. On n'échappe pas au désir. Ici, c'est la réalisation d'une divagation personnelle qui m'est venue il y a quelques années en conduisant tout en écoutant la radio. Vous trouverez assez rapidement, je pense, ma source d'inspiration.
  • "Nakna-Uhukshub" La plus longue nouvelle du Recueil narre les aventures de Martin Gallant, un officier de l'US Army en mission de sauvetage sur la froide banquise de l'Arctique. De l'action, du sang et un Ancien avide de pouvoir pénétrer sur notre planète rythment ce récit épique et amènent notre héros à prendre tous les risques pour la mener à bien. Un soupçon de John Mc Lane, une pincée de Franck Castle et des glyphes inscrits au plus profond des chairs en l'honneur des Grands Anciens.
  • "La Caverne" Un "très-très court" texte que j'ai écrit dans le cadre du Prix Court et noir 2021, organisé par Short Édition. Il vous donnera une idée du style que je donne à mes nouvelles. Ce recueil sera l'occasion de mettre cette histoire entre les mains d'un plus grand nombre de lecteurs.
  • "Le Sapin sur la Colline" Cette nouvelle rejoint le recueil en bonus, bien que n'ayant pas de rapport direct avec le Mythe de Cthulhu. Ce -faux ?- conte de noël se déroule dans un monde post-apocalyptique. Un vieux couple décide de monter une dernière fois sur la colline afin de revoir le sapin devant lequel leur chemin a commencé. Un récit émouvant et fantastique qui, j'espère, saura vous toucher

  • Ce livre est la version AMAZON de l'ouvrage publié via ULULE. Contrairement à cette dernière, il ne possède pas de couverture rigide ou d'illustrations couleurs en pages intérieures.
