Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Französisch - Literatur, Werke, Note: 16 Punkte, Université de Lyon 2, Veranstaltung: Récit de voyage au féminin, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Quand nous lisons et analysons des récits de voyage, il y a un aspect qui saute aux yeux et qui nous semble le plus important et le plus frappant de ce genre: c'est la rencontre du voyageur avec l'autre, la confrontation avec l'altérité et par conséquent la redécouverte de soi-même. Le voyageur subit souvent une métamorphose pendant son voyage et il exprime cette expérience existentielle en écrivant son récit de voyage. Et spécialement pour les femmes, le voyage qui était un domaine masculin jusqu'au début du XXe siècle, est un espace libre, hors de la société restrictive et devient ainsi la possibilité de franchir les frontières de leur rôle féminin et de se redéfinir. Nous remarquons que les récits de voyage au féminin mettent plus l'accent que les récits de voyage au masculin sur la question de l'identité et observent plus les femmes étrangères, l'autre féminin. Flora Tristan qui voyage au Pérou entre avril 1833 et juillet 1834 dresse dans son récit de voyage Pérégrinations d'une paria, paru en 1837, des multiples portraits des femmes étrangères. Le regard de Flora Tristan sur l'autre femme et sa manière de percevoir la féminité sont important pour l'initiation de la jeune voyageuse. Cela devient évident quand nous considérons son portrait de la señora Gamarra qui forme le véritable point culminant de son récit de voyage. Ce qui frappe c'est que nous ne trouvons aucune étude critique qui se consacre exclusivement à ce portrait bien que la narratrice elle-même souligne son importance en lui consacrant tout le dernier chapitre de son récit. Donc, il est temps d'éclaircir ce manque dans la recherche sur Flora Tristan.
