Comme lindique le titre, Le mythe du sale boche, les Allemands ne sont pas les ultimes vilains de lhistoire. Ils ne sont pas non plus, comme le veut la version officielle, les saboteurs de la paix europenne et la cause des deux Guerres mondiales du sicle dernier. Les atrocits quils auraient soi-disant perptres durant ces conflits arms furent inventes de toute pice par la propagande allie afin dobtenir l'appui de l'opinion publique. La propagande de la Shoah, qui est apparue aprs la Seconde Guerre mondiale, a par ailleurs grandement contribu consolider cette haine du sale boche . Mais cette version officielle de lhistoire est-elle vridique ? L'Allemagne est-elle rellement l'incarnation du mal absolu ? Dans ce livre, l'auteur brosse un tableau diffrent. Il explique en effet que l'Allemagne n'tait la cause ni de la Premire ni de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, mais dans les deux cas, la victime de lagression des allis. L'instabilit engendre par la guerre 14-18 a permis la rvolution bolchvique russe de 1917 dclater, ce qui a apport au monde le communisme. Or, Hitler et l'Allemagne ont tout de suite compris que le communisme international, de sa base en Union sovitique, tait une menace existentielle non seulement pour l'Occident, mais pour toute la civilisation chrtienne. L'Allemagne hitlrienne a ds lors amorc une lutte mort contre cette idologie sanguinaire. Loin d'tre le saboteur de la paix europenne, l'Allemagne, en srigeant en rempart, a donc empch la rvolution bolchvique de stendre toute l'Europe. Il est dommage que les allis n'aient pas vu la Russie communiste sous le mme jour que lAllemagne. Cette alliance entre les pays occidentaux et le communisme a eu des consquences dsastreuses sur la civilisation occidentale chrtienne. L'auteur se dit convaincu que la France, la Grande-Bretagne et les tats-Unis se sont battus du mauvais ct.
About the Author: Benton L. Bradberry a servi comme officier et pilote dans la marine des tats-Unis de 1955 1977, soit pratiquement du dbut de la guerre froide sa fin. Sa gnration a grandi submer-ge jusqu'au cou dans la propagande shoatique et la germanophobie la plus primaire. Puis, lors-qu'il a servi dans la marine amricaine, il a t submerg cette fois-ci par la propagande anti-communiste et la psychose de la guerre propre l're de la guerre froide. Fascin depuis tou-jours par l'histoire de cette poque, il a beaucoup approfondi ses aspects par ses lectures. Pen-dant ses annes dans la marine, il a eu l'occasion de voyager presque partout en Europe. Il a aussi pass beaucoup de temps en Europe en tant que civil. Sceptique de nature, il se doutait bien depuis longtemps que la propagande ne disait pas lessentiel. Ayant pass des annes fouiller l'envers de la mdaille, il a ds lors crit un livre sur les fruits de ses recherches ex-haustives. L'auteur est un diplm en science politique et en relations internationales de la Na-val Post Graduate School (cole des tudes suprieures de la marine) de Monterey, en Califor-nie.
