About the Book

English summary: Alexander Solzhenitsyn's acceptance speech for the Nobel Prize in literature remains a capital text, in which the author condemned both communism and capitalism. Prophetic in its understanding of the two systems, Solzhenitsyn's text, written four years after his expulsion from the USSR, retains even today its topicality and profoundness.
