About the Book

Volume 4 of 'The Last Mutineers' series begins just after the Mutineers' night of passion with their newfound brides-to-be. If you do so recall, the Elders spent the night working on the warriors' Telluric Amplifying Boots (TABs) as well as the Kilmar brothers' Algiz Blades. Meaning they are not going to be in the best of moods first thing in the morning. A fact that shows whenever the Mutineers show up in front of Hervald's cabin with the Elders' daughters in tow. Now Noslen and Barnabus seem none too pleased with such sights. Showing such distaste by forcefully throwing the pair of TABs in their possession at Roland and Azimov. Only to storm back into the cabin moments later. After a somber farewell with their lovers and the addition of boots to their Kenaz Suits, the Mutineers are off to new destinations. Such being the Mutant Interpolated Training and Environment Simulator (MITES). A simulation in which monsters and environments are seemingly conjured up out of thin air. With only four quadrants to choose from and five of them, someone has to stay behind during their initial run. Hervald takes the opportunity to pull Azimov aside and reveal the big paternity secret that everyone else but him already knows. However, moments after the reveal, Azimov storms off on an emotional tirade. Jumping into the elevator and pressing random keys until it closes and takes him to parts unknown. During the others' MITES training, Azimov ends up going for a swim through one of the cavern's freshwater cenotes. Only to end up in his father's personal office at the end of his voyage. Shortly after, Hervald reconvenes with Azimov and the Mutineers get done with their first stage of training. Upon the group rendezvousing at the ladies' Sandwich Shack to get a bite to eat, an ominous revelation occurs. One which allows the Sagacians to take control of Zakaria's being and literally speak their message through him. Revealing that they have less than a day to complete their training and initiate their journey down south to Roswell, NM.With The Order's approach and the Chosen's need to fight the Ultimae Demon prior to their departure, time is of the essence. The group wastes no time and heads straight back into the MITES after their meal. Facing the dragon to face their fate as the Sagacian had stated. Needless to say, they pass the trial with flying colors. But not without experiencing ailments brought forth by the demon's deafening screeching. Hervald seeks to abate such ailments by heading to the Biosphere and acquiring the aid of the Betty Bots. Upon healing the Chosen's ills, Hervald commands the Betty bears to release the nanobot-laced concoction onto the cavern floor. Setting forth a series of mystifying events that completely reshape the cavern's ecosystem. While these ethereal events are occurring, the six guards are out distracting the Ordermen between Mt. Arter and Mt. Chevo. Equipped with naught but EAR piece radios and invisibility cloaks while facing their hundreds of foes, they certainly have their work cut out for them. Only to face the worst of fates upon the Top Three's arrival the morning of the Final Day.Before such dire fates befall the guards, the Kilmar brothers are sent out to Fiddlers Lake to save the refugees. Doing so while wearing the Elders' new Fortified Running and Amplified Gait Shoes (FRAGS). During their trek back to the caves, the Mutineers are on their way to Yellowstone to retrieve the chunk of Master Sphere from the Sagacians. Not to mention the Elders, who begin dueling with their arch nemeses and their armada of corrupted goons. Close enough for the brothers to hear their music blasting amidst the shrill cries of agony and death. These events culminate shortly after the Chosen cross through the barrier. For that just so happens to be when the Elders do the unthinkable. All while the mutated beasts begin closing in. Bringing forth the true beginning of the end.
