When the NOAA survey vessel discovered a wrecked Second World War German submarine on the sea floor of the Gulf of Mexico, its sudden appearance was accounted for by the undersea earthquake of September 2006. Bormann saw that the resources he had earmarked for his own intrigue might serve equally well for the Fuhrer's; in fact they were complementary, one a back-up for the other. They would need an aircraft, an American bomber... The planning had been meticulous, fifth columnists in America rallied to the orders coming from Berlin. Here, in the United States? The means and the target were as unbelievable as they were breathtaking; to imagine how the Americans had laboured so hard in building their own downfall.
About the Author: David Coles and Jack Everett have been co-authors for many years. They have written in a number of genres: Fantasy and Science Fiction, History, Thriller and Mystery. They write as Jack Everett and David Coles and - in F&Sf - as Everett Coles. The day jobs - to support the writing habit - are a sports bar in Jack's case and computer software in David's.
