Then someone tries to kill her, and everything changes.
Ash Dubane, son of the Sun territory leader, has been assigned an important mission. His father wishes to use the Object to reinstate the power of the Dark Army. To reach it, a young Moon spirit must be destroyed. While Ash takes no pleasure in his mission, he intends to see it through for the good of the Sun territory.
As Serena discovers her power, Ash struggles between his duty and what he knows to be right. Serena and Ash hold the world in their hands, for better or worse.
