In these uncertain times, we need a reliable compass to guide us on our way. That proven compass is God's timeless word. His word shows us that the changing of times and eras on earth, take place only after a corresponding spiritual shift in the heavens. If we are going to be a step ahead of the game, we must take our cues from inspiration coming from above, from the Bible.
Are we close to the end? Is Jesus, the messiah's promised return imminent? What series of events precede his return, and how will we be affected by these events?
Clearly, God's sense of time is completely different from our own. He takes the long view, while we prefer the shorter. So, what's a believer or unbeliever to do?
Some twelve, thirteen years ago I started a conversation with a fellow believer about the prophesied return of Jesus. Fixing his eyes on me, this studious-looking guy asked me a penetrating question, "where in the Bible does it say that Jesus is coming back twice?" Huh? Up to this point, I had parroted the popular belief that the church would be taken out of this world and wafted up to our perpetual kum-ba-yah in heaven before the massive events of Revelation struck.
I cannot provide you with a date and time of Jesus' return. That would prove me a liar, and a false prophet. Nevertheless, what I can do, is help you see clearly what Jesus in his word has to say about the matter. Most importantly, you will have a better appreciation and understanding of the book of Revelation, the final book of the Bible, and you will know exactly what is required of you, in these uncertain times.
In The Last 3 Sevens - Jesus Returns, I invite you to take this journey of discovery with me. As you read, I hope that you will not only see God's awesomeness, but also that you will be touched by his unfathomable love, a love that graciously reminds, and warns us of things to come.
