Como nunca, las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) se hacen presentes en la vida cotidiana y atraviesan todas las áreas de la actividad humana a través de nuevos dispositivos tecnológicos. Este nuevo escenario se ha convertido, en forma irrefutable, en mediador universal de la cultura. Intentaremos colaborar con los actuales y futuros docentes en el tránsito de este proceso, con el propósito de incorporar contenidos significativos que faciliten la integración de la tecnología en las aulas y en las instituciones educativas. Este camino debería permitirnos planificar y desarrollar un proyecto acorde al actual avance científico-tecnológico y generar un contexto que garantice la excelencia y la aplicación de los conocimientos adquiridos en diversas áreas.

Desde esta perspectiva, es importante que los docentes visualicen y se apropien de la riqueza de estos nuevos lenguajes en la vida de las aulas y en el valor educativo que pueden aportar las nuevas tecnologías para innovar y para generar un puente con los estudiantes. Los docentes, los estudiantes y los contenidos que se enseñarán y aprenderán tendrán que estar en el centro, pues serán los protagonistas de la triada didáctica del siglo XXI, contribuyendo a una ciudadanía crítica y autónoma.

Profesor titular de la cátedra Tecnología Educativa I de la Licenciatura en Tecnología Educativa, en la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Facultad Regional Buenos Aires (UTN-FRBA). Asesor pedagógico en Tecnologías de la Coordinación de Incorporación de Tecnología (INTEC) del Ministerio de Educación del Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Profesor de informática y NTICX desde hace más de 25 años en los distintos niveles del sistema educativo. Ponente y conferencista en diversos congresos, jornadas y encuentros de educación.
