Todo pasa por el tubo de "pole dance" de estas amantes trasnochadas: el morbo del amor prohibido, la decepción de las revoluciones, el secreto repertorio del oficio más antiguo del mundo, las infinitas formas del desamor y sus incestuosos daños colaterales. Una vez más Yoshvani Medina entrega un libro como un testamento, un certificado de defunción de la inocencia, donde el sexo, el amor, el dinero y su anfitrión la muerte, se sacan los trapos sucios en la última cena.
About the Author: Yoshvani Medina (Pinar del Río, Cuba, 1967). Dramaturgo, director, actor, compositor, traductor, maestro de teatro. Diplomado del Conservatorio de Arte Dramático de París y de la Escuela de Instructores de Teatro de su provincia natal. Ha dirigido, compuesto, escrito, adaptado, traducido e interpretado más de ciento veinte espectáculos profesionales en Europa, Estados Unidos, América Latina y el Caribe, incluyendo las más grandes obras maestras del repertorio clásico, de "Don Quijote" a "Sueño de una noche de verano", de "Lisístrata" a "Las preciosas ridículas", de "La señorita Julie" a "El malentendido", de "Petición de mano" a "Así es si así os parece", y llevando a escena a los más contundentes dramaturgos contemporáneos: Harold Pinter, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, Peter Handke, Virgilio Piñera, Alan Ball, entre muchos otros. En 2010, su obra "Probation" fue laureada con el Gran Premio Nacional "Nuestras Voces", auspiciado por la multinacional MetLife y el Teatro Repertorio Español. Medina fue invitado en residencia para dirigirla y la obra fue estrenada en 2012. Fue el debut de una serie de doce estrenos en el circuito Off Broadway de New York, por los que ha recibido una decena de Premios HOLA, ACE, ATI y siete estatuillas en el Festival del Comisionado de New York por su polémica "Matemática del deseo". Sus obras han sido publicadas en Francia por las Ëditions du Grand Sud-Ouest; en Bégica, por Lansman Éditeur; en EE.UU, por Baquiana y Latin Heritage Foundation; en República Dominicana, por Casa de Teatro. Ha dictado conferencias y clases magistrales en diferentes universidades del mundo: Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique d'Avignon, Florida International University, University of Miami, Université des Antilles Guyane. Ha participado en calidad de personalidad invitada en numerosos festivales internacionales de teatro: New York, Limoges, Avignon, Cádiz, Mérida, Fort-de-France, Les Abymes, Fuerza Fest Orlando, entre otros. Por el conjunto de su obra dramática, la Real Academia de la Lengua Española lo eligió en 2013 para el Corpus del Español del Siglo XXI.
