Si considerasemos El Quijote como una sola obra, como la consideramos, a pesar de que el tiempo transcurrido entre la publicacion de la primera parte y la segunda fue de diez anos, podriamos decir que habiamos leido el Quijote si solo hubiesemos leido la primera parte? Cuantas personas conocen que hubo una segunda parte de El Lazarillo de Tormes? Segunda parte que se publico de manera conjunta con la primera parte en Amberes, solo un ano despues de haber salido la primera parte. Pocos saben que es segunda parte tan solo se reimprimio en dos ocasiones mas y siempre fuera de Espana, en Milan en 1587 y 1615, junto con el primer Lazarillo. Sin embargo en Espana hubo de esperar para de nuevo publicarse tambien conjuntamente con la primera parte hasta 1844, un ano despues de abolida la Inquisicion, la friolera de casi 300 anos y ya nunca mas se volvio a publicar de manera conjunta, no solo eso, sino que ya se puede decir que no se ha vuelto a publicar mas alla de una docena de veces como mucho. Algunos pensaran... Que tonterias dice este? Si yo se de sobra que hubo una segunda parte, incluso alguno habra leido esa segunda parte escrita por el toledano Juan de Luna, publicada en Paris en 1620. Tal vez olvidando que en el prologo un ofendido Juan de Luna dice: "La ocasion, amigo lector, de haber hecho imprimir la Segunda parte de Lazarillo de Tormes ha sido por haberme venido a las manos un librillo que toca algo de su vida, sin rastro de verdad. La mayor parte del se emplea en contar como Lazaro cayo en la mar, donde se convirtio en un pescado llamado atun, y vivio en ella muchos anos, casandose con una atuna, de quien tuvo hijos tan peces como el padre y madre. Cuenta tambien las guerras que los atunes hacian, siendo Lazaro el capitan, y otros disparates tan ridiculos como mentirosos y tan mal fundados como necios. Sin duda que el que lo compuso quiso contar un sueno necio o una necedad sonada. Este libro, digo, ha sido el primer motivo que me ha movido a sacar a la luz esta Segunda parte, al pie de la letra, sin quitar ni anadir, como la vi escrita en unos cartapacios en el archivo de la jacarandina de Toledo, que se conformaba con lo que habia oido contar cien veces a mi abuela y tias, al fuego, las noches de invierno y con lo que me desteto mi ama." Se refiere a esa segunda parte del Lazarillo publicadas en Amberes y prohibida de inmediato por la Inquisicion e 1959. Esta segunda parte ha usurpado al autentico y genuino Lazarillo de Tormes, tal vez literariamente mejor, pero que a mi entender no merece ocupar un puesto que no merece, entre otras razones por su misoginia, o machismo militante, con una postura contra la mujer nunca vista nunca vista hasta entonces en la literatura espanola, ni tampoco despues. La segunda parte del Lazarillo de Tormes tiene el triste record de ser el libro mas prohibido y castigado de la literatura espanola, perseguido desde antes de su nacimiento, no pudiendose publicar en Espana hasta 1844, casi 300 anos despues de ser escrito o de haber sido publicado en Amberes en 1555. Tan peligroso es?"
