About the Book

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

Elba, the protagonist is herself a mystery; but she will gradually be revealing insight into her life, her childhood, her family and that of her platonic love as well.

Elba's eyes seem to light up with sparkle only on weekends and during the summers which is when Jan visits the countryside. He is the hazel-eyed boy who is always surrounded by books. Then, suddenly something magical happens and both their stories are woven together, they start locking eyes and pursuing each other, and their bodies may at times meet on a river bank, at a hospital, at the gates of a military camp, or at any random street in Rome.
