Una historia de locura, culpa, amor y olvido inspirada en leyendas, poesía e historias de grandes autores como Bécquer, Poe o Wilde y conducida por las melodías de Malevaje y Red Wine.La autora: Verónica García-Peña nació en Oquendo (Álava) en 1979. Vivió su niñez y juventud en Zalla (Vizcaya) hasta los 24 años. Después residió en La Rioja y Navarra hasta que en el año 2016 se trasladó a Gijón (Asturias) donde reside actualmente. Es licenciada en Sociología y Periodismo por la Universidad del País Vasco. Dirige el blog literario "El jardín del sur", con más de 1.300 seguidores, y colabora de forma habitual con el magazín de cultura, ocio y deporte "Spoonful". También colabora con distintos grupos editoriales, como Roca Editorial, Maeva, Penguin Random House o la editorial especializada en literatura africana @2709 books, en la lectura y reseña de libros.En 2013 vio la luz su primera novela, "Bendita palabra", con prólogo del escritor Pablo Zapata Lerga y galardonada como Accésit en el I certamen literario Nemira. En 2014 se adentró en el mundo del humor con su segunda obra, "De cómo Feliciano San Feliz quiso matar a sus vecinos", y en 2015 quedó entre los diez finalistas del Premio Planeta con la novela "El ladrón de sueños", publicada en 2016.También en 2016 publicó "Relatos desde El jardín del sur", una antología de relatos cortos y microrrelatos (nueva edición actualizada y renovada en 2018 con el título "En los cajones de mi casa"). En 2017 de nuevo quedó finalista del Premio Planeta con la novela "La isla de las musas", presentada con el seudónimo de Ricardo Pedreira Ulloa, y publicada en 2018. Resultó 4° finalista del Premio Planeta 2017 entre las 634 obras presentadas al certamen.
