About the Book

English summary: Collection of French translations of novellas by three of the most important Irish writers of the early twentieth century. Daniel Corkery, Sean O'Faolain and Frank O'Connor offer a dreary, rough, and fraught image of their native Cork, a city rejected by its larger, more urban cousins, left to fend for itself, to write its own story.
