La COLECCIÓN SALMOS está basada en la gran obra de Charles H. Spurgeon: "El Tesoro de David", un comentario a toda la Biblia «a la luz de los Salmos» considerados como una síntesis de todo el mensaje de la Escritura. Cada texto bíblico, del Génesis al Apocalipsis, encuentra en "El Tesoro de David" su correspondiente enlace a un versículo de los Salmos.

A«Entrad por sus puertas con acción de gracias, por sus atrios con alabanza» (Salmo 100:4).

Bajo el tema de "La Gratitud", hemos agrupado dos salmos particularmente cortos: el Salmo 100 y el Salmo 117, ambos coincidentes en un mismo propósito. La acción de gracias es algo que debe abundar en el culto cristiano, cual el humo del incienso que llenaba todo el templo. Los sacrificios expiatorios han sido abolidos, pero los de gratitud nunca quedarán fuera de lugar. Somos receptores de misericordia y debemos ser dadores de gratitud. La misericordia es lo que nos permite entrar por sus puertas; hagámoslo pues "con reconocimiento", alabemos y demos gracias por esa misericordia. ¿En qué mejor tema podemos centrar nuestros pensamientos cuando estamos en la casa de Dios, que en el Señor de la casa?
