About the Book

English summary: Rudyard Kipling, like many of his contemporary English authors, joined the British War Propaganda Bureau in 1915. Walking the trenches, experiencing the war at the sides of the allied soldiers, he described their heroism wrapped in the fog and smoke of war, lamenting the deaths of so many.
