Christian Cevallos economista de profesión y concejal de Miami-Dade en su ensayo Una Ecuatorianidad Participativa, nos relata su experiencia personal "cuando yo recién acababa de acomodar mis maletas e iniciar el noveno grado en Miami Sr. High School, un mundo diferente, nuevo, un colegio con casi 3,500 estudiantes que para la época y mi origen era muy grande, muy diverso, nuevas culturas: cubanos, colombianos, puertorriqueños, hondureños, dominicanos, peruanos, panameños, nicaragüenses entre otros. Los síntomas del Autismo aparecen en la infancia y la niñez temprana, causando retrasos en muchas áreas fundamentales del desarrollo como hablar, jugar e interactuar con los demás. Las señales del autismo varían ampliamente, al igual que sus efectos. Algunos niños autistas tienen sólo impedimentos leves, mientras que otros tienen que superar más obstáculos. La autismo tiene un impacto en la sociedad y en la relaciones interpersonales e interculturales. El escritor, poeta y politicólogo, Addhemar Sierralta, nos acompaña con el ensayo del "Pisco: La Bebida de Bandera del Perú" nos presenta una bebida ancestral que cuando los españoles arribaron en 1535 trajeron la vid al nuevo mundo, que sembraron con el objeto de hacer vinos y un aguardiente de uva empezó a prepararse y a hacerse famoso. Recopilando información acerca del pisco encontramos las notas del ingeniero Jaime Ariansen Céspedes que bien vale la pena compartir: "El Pisco es un especial aguardiente (Brandy), con mucha personalidad, incoloro o con un ligero tono ámbar, con sabor muy criollo, debe tener entre 42 y 52 grados de alcohol, según la bodega donde se elabore. Es un destilado de la fermentación de la uva, de la familia del Cognac y el Armagnac. El Pisco es una bebida que ha llegado para compartir con otras cultural su aroma y su textura.
