About the Book

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

A rural thriller that has captivated thousands of readers.

What happened to the girl in the blue dress?

Martina has just arrived in Treviu, the mountain village where she has spent summers all her life. She needs to get away from Barcelona and there, surrounded by childhood memories, she feels safe. Soon after she gets settled, she discovers that someone has vandalized three graves in the old cemetery, one of them belonging to an unidentified young woman who died more than thirty years ago on the Malpàs bridge. Everyone knows her as "the girl in the blue dress" and although all signs pointed to suicide, he death remains a mystery.

When Martina decides to investigate the girl's past, she unwittingly sets in motion a series of events that will lead her on a dangerous adventure, one where she'll face an adversary willing to do anything to keep past secrets from coming to light.

A gripping rural noir that immerses the reader in the life of a small mountain town populated by sympathetic locals but where dangerous secrets run just below the surface.

"Things shouldn't have turned out that way. The story of the girl in the blue dress should have been an excuse to be motivated by something, to connect with the past of a place that was a big part of my childhood and that has shaped me as a result. But then the threats started...and I didn't take them seriously. I guess that deep down I never really believed that the girl in the blue dress committed suicide, and now it seems clear that someone I know played a role in her death - someone with no scruples and capable of killing to protect their secret."
