Quand le carton prend vie... l'aventure surgit!
Sans emploi et sans le sou, le père de Cam se résigne à offrir à son fils le pire cadeau qui soit pour son anniversaire: une boîte de carton. Faisant contre mauvaise fortune bon coeur, le père et le fils s'amusent à transformer le carton en boxeur. À leur plus grand étonnement, le personnage prend vie! Envieux, Marcus, la petite peste du quartier, s'empresse d'utiliser le carton magique pour fabriquer ses propres créatures: des êtres maléfiques qui menaceront bientôt de tous les détruire!
After Cam's down-and-out father gives him a cardboard box for his birthday, they fashion it into a man and it comes magically to life. But things spin wildly out of control when the neighborhood bully, Marcus, steals a scrap of the cardboard to create creatures that promptly disobey his orders and multiply into an unruly army.
Before long, Cam and Marcus must put their differences behind them and work together to prevent a legion of cardboard monsters from taking over the whole town!

Doug TenNapel was raised in the town of Denair, California. In 1994, he created Earthworm Jim, a character who would go on to star in video games, toy lines, and cartoon series. Doug is an Eisner award-winning artist, and his first graphic novel for Scholastic, Ghostopolis, is a 2011 ALA Top Ten Great Graphic Novels for Teens. His most recent graphic novel from Scholastic, Bad Island, has been published to critical acclaim. Doug lives in Glendale, California.
