Inhaltsangabe: Problemstellung: Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit soll folgenden Fragestellungen nachgegangen werden: Was glauben Autohauskunden, welches Wissen auf der Händlerseite über sie besteht? Wovon hängen die Kundenkenntnisse der Autohäuser nach Ansicht der Kunden ab? Welche Wirkungen haben die Kundenkenntnisse der Autohändler aus Sicht der Kunden? Der Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit soll auf der Erstellung eines schlüssigen Designs für eine Untersuchung der Kundenkenntnisse aus Kundensicht liegen, sowie auf der Durchführung einer ersten Erhebung. Untersuchungsgegenstand soll nicht sein, die Einstellungen der Kunden gegenüber den Autohäusern bzw. die Kundenzufriedenheit zu messen. Hierzu werden in regelmäßigen Abständen firmeninterne wie -externe Untersuchungen angestellt, wodurch eine weitere ihren Sinn als eine wissenschaftliche Pilotstudie verfehlen würde. Des weiteren soll sich der Aspekt der Kundenkenntnisse auf die Absatzseite beschränken. Kundenkenntnisse über Lieferanten oder interne Kunden werden nicht untersucht. Diese können zwar auch in den erweiterten Kreis von Kunden mit einbezogen werden, jedoch würde dies zu weit führen in dieser Pilotstudie. Außerdem ist es nicht das Ziel dieser Arbeit, Hypothesen über Wirkungszusammenhänge zwischen den Untersuchungsobjekten zu formulieren und durch die Erhebung zu überprüfen. Dies würde im Rahmen dieser Pilotstudie ebenfalls zu weit führen. Ebenfalls soll in dieser Arbeit nicht untersucht werden, welche Kenntnisse Autohäuser tatsächlich sammeln. Dieser Frage soll in einer weiteren Arbeit nachgegangen werden. Gang der Untersuchung: Im zweiten Kapitel wird versucht, eine Definition des Themas zu formulieren. Das Untersuchungsdesign der Studie wird als erster Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit im dritten Kapitel behandelt. Darin wird die Erhebungsmethodik, einschließlich der Struktur des Fragebogens, beschrieben und begründet. Des weiteren werden die Vorbereitungen sowie der Ablauf der durchgeführten Erhebung darge
