Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,3, Universität Konstanz, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In "Hedda Gabler" von Henrik Ibsen entfaltet sich eine Vielzahl von Themen wie z.B. die Langeweile, der Ästhetizismus als auch der Historismus, die unmittelbar auf die Entstehungszeit des Dramas selbst verweisen. Dieses naturalistische Drama birgt die besondere Rezeptionssituation in sich, dass sich das Publikum auf der Bühne selbst betrachtet. Doch nicht nur im literarischen Diskurs findet diese Selbstbetrachtung und -bespiegelung statt, sondern auch der philosophische Diskurs ist gespickt mit Anmerkungen über das damalige Bewusstsein. Die Hinwendung auf die eigene Zeit lässt sich exemplarisch am Werk Nietzsches ablesen. Nietzsche betreibt unmittelbare Zeitkritik in der "Zweiten Unzeitgemäßen Betrachtungen", indem er den im 19. Jahrhundert aktuellen Historismus als Zeichen einer kulturellen Verfallserscheinung deutet. Sowohl in Hedda Gabler als auch in Nietzsches "Zweiter Unzeitgemäßer Betrachtung" wird die "historische Bildung" explizit thematisiert und damit zum Gegenstand des jeweiligen Diskurses. Beide Texte beinhalten also, der eine durch zwei dramatische Figuren, der andere durch argumentative, non-fiktionale Rhetorik, eine Problematisierung des Historismus, und weisen dadurch eine augenfällige Intertextualität auf. Die Arbeit geht der Frage nach, inwiefern sich Nietzsches Kritik am Historismus in Jørgen Tesman und Eilert Løvborg aus Hedda Gabler wieder findet und in den beiden Figuren verdichtet und damit das Drama Nietzsches kritischen Impuls gegen seine Zeit aufnimmt und in anderer Form repräsentiert. Dabei ist es unerheblich, ob Ibsen die Schriften von Nietzsches rezipiert und künstlerisch umgesetzt hat oder nicht. Vielmehr soll die Durchdringung der beiden Diskurse im späten 19. Jahrhundert anhand der Kritik am Historismus herausgearbeitet werden und gleichzeitig die Frage gestellt werden, inwieweit die F
