Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2019 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Kognitive Psychologie, Note: 1,0, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mit dem Aufkommen neuartiger Medien folgt häufig der Wunsch danach, diese auch in Lehr- und Lernprozesse einzubinden, verbunden mit der Erwartung, dass sich durch die neuen Werkzeuge und Arbeitsweisen effizientere und fruchtbarere Lernumgebungen schaffen ließen. Mit der fortschreitenden Verbreitung des Internets entwickelte sich geradezu eine Euphorie in Bezug auf technikgestütztes Lernen, das fortan als "eLearning" firmiert. An die neuen Möglichkeiten werden sehr hohe Forderungen gestellt, da die diversen Optionen zur Gestaltung etwaiger Lernumgebungen und/oder Lehrsettings scheinbar grenzenlos sind und "Multimedia" das neue Leitprinzip der Didaktik im Computerzeitalter sein sollte. Die vorliegende Arbeit soll zunächst diese anfängliche Euphorie hinter sich lassen und die medienspezifischen Potenziale von eLearning-Elementen möglichst objektiv untersuchen. Auf Grundlage lernpsychologischer Theorien sollen medienbezogene Aspekte des menschlichen Lernprozesses beschrieben und auf spezielle Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten für den Einsatz in computergestützten Lernszenarien geprüft werden. An dieser Stelle sollen vor allem die häufig angebrachten (vermeintlichen) Vorteile der Multimedialität genauer betrachtet und die zugrundeliegenden kognitiven Prinzipien dargestellt werden. Hierbei werden Aussagen für die Gestaltung von multimedialen eLearning-Elementen abgeleitet, um die innovativen Möglichkeiten der neuen Medienlandschaft für einen Lehr-Lernprozess offenzulegen und somit die Konzeption von digitalen Lernmaterialien, anhand kognitionspsychologisch evaluierter Grundsätze, zu ermöglichen.
