Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Pädagogik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 1,0, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Auf Grundlage des Kernlehrplans, der kritischen Perspektive der Medienpädagogen und Reformpädagogen sowie basierend auf dem Kennenlernen der journalistischen Arbeit sollen die Schüler verschiedene Module durchlaufen, in denen sie Kompetenzen zu den unterschiedlichen Bereichen erlagen. Diese sollen sie schließlich zur Gestaltung und Erstellung einer Online-Schülerzeitung befähigen und darüber hinaus zu einer kritischen Haltung zum Medium Internet anleiten. Die Schüler sollen in den Feldern rechtliche Grundlagen, journalistische Arbeit sowie die Arbeit der Lokalzeitung eingeführt werden. Zunächst werden die Schüler in die Technik zur Erstellung einer Internetseite eingeführt. Die anschließende Gestaltung, d.h. nicht nur das Layout der Seite, sondern auch die Entscheidung über die Rubriken, die in der Schülerzeitung bestückt werden sollen, fallen ebenfalls in diesen Bereich. Das heißt, hier geht es um die Technik im Web, um zu einer äußeren Gestalt der Online-Schülerzeitung zu kommen. Anschließend geht es um das Modul "Journalistischen Arbeit". Bei diesem Modul finden die Schüler einzelne Themen, die zu den festgelegten Rubriken gehören und die Zielgruppe ansprechen sollen. Weiterhin sollen die Schüler lernen, ihre Texte zu planen und Möglichkeiten zur Recherche kennenlernen. Dazu gehört natürlich auch die Wahl der Darstellungsform des Textes, z.B. Reportage oder Bericht. Im Modul "Rechtliche Grundlagen" setzen sich die Schüler mit dem Urheberrecht, der Impressumspflicht, den Rechten und Pflichten eines Journalisten, der Meinungsfreiheit und Pressefreiheit auseinander. Hierbei geht es nicht nur darum grundlegende Gesetze für die journalistische Arbeit kennenzulernen, sondern auch darum eine kritische Haltung über die Wechselwirkung zwischen dem Geschriebenen und der Wirkung beim Leser zu beurteilen.
