Fehlertolerante zyklische Prozesse konnen Regelkreise fur sicherheitskritische Anwendungen sein, die in fehlertoleranter Art und Weise eine Regelungsaufgabe erfullen. Hierbei wird eine sogenannte Regelstrecke (das zu beeinflussende Objekt) von mehreren fehlertoleranten Reglern entsprechend der Benutzervorgabe (Fuhrungsgrosse) und des aktuellen Zustandes (Regelgrosse) so beeinflusst, dass die Differenz zwischen Fuhrungs- und Regelgrosse (Regeldifferenz) zu jedem Zeitpunkt der Spezifikation entspricht. Fuhrungs- und Regelgrosse werden dabei fehlertolerant von Messeinheiten erfasst und den ebenfalls fehlertoleranten Reglern zur Verfugung stellt. Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit der Modellierung fehlertoleranter zyklischer Prozesse in der Art, dass zum Einen die Fehlertoleranzfahigkeit und zum Anderen die Auswirkungen der Fehler und Fehlertoleranzmassnahmen auf das dynamische Verhalten von Regelstrecken mit nur einem Modell beurteilt werden konnen. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die Fehlertoleranz und nicht die Entwicklung von Regelungen. Ihre Herleitung erfolgt mit etablierten Tools und Methoden der Regelungstechnik. Die Integration der mathematischen Gleichungen fur Regler und Regelstrecke in die hier beschriebenen Modelle erfolgt dabei in approximierter Form. Zur Beurteilung der Fehlertoleranzfahigkeit haben sich Zustands-Transitions-Modelle als effektiv erwiesen, da hiermit die Moglichkeit zur Zustandsraumexploration und damit zur Untersuchung aller moglichen Zustande eines Modells gegeben ist, sodass die Sprache SDL (Specification and Description Language) zur Modellierung gewahlt wurde. In Verbindung mit einer Fehlerinjektion ermoglicht die Simulation des Modells die Beurteilung der Auswirkungen der Fehlertoleranzfahigkeit und der Fehlertoleranzmechanismen auf das dynamische Verhalten der gesamten Regelung. Somit ist eine Moglichkeit zur umfassenden Untersuchung fehlertoleranter zyklischer Prozesse mit nur einem Modell geschaffen. Die Modellierung mit SDL bringt nicht nur Vorteile mit sich. Die Abbildung zeitkritischer Systeme erwies sich aufgrund der Zeitlosigkeit von SDL als schwierig, sodass die Entwicklung eines geeigneten Zeitkonzeptes in den Mittelpunkt der Arbeit ruckte. Schliesslich ist ein Zeitkonzept entstanden, das ohne Erweiterungen der Sprache SDL die Modellierung zeitkritischer Systeme ermoglicht, die mit der Zeitlosigkeit von SDL verbundenen Probleme lost und somit die Modellierung fehlertoleranter zyklischer Prozesse vereinfacht.
