Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensführung, Management, Organisation, Note: 1,7, Universität Siegen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: CSE geht aus drei konzeptionellen Bezugssystemen hervor: Entrepreneurship, Corporate Entrepreneurship und Social Entrepreneurship. Die konzeptionellen Wurzeln des CSE beginnen mit Schumpeters Vision, dass Innovationen und technologische Veränderungen von einzelnen Unternehmern ausgehen, die durch ihren Unternehmergeist eine schöpferische Zerstörung des alten Wegs provozieren. Er prognostizierte, dass sich die Antriebssysteme des Entrepreneurship von Individuen zu Unternehmen mit besseren Mitteln für Forschung und Entwicklung bewegen würden, was auch geschah. Daraus entstand der Fokus auf das Modell des Corporate Entrepreneurship. Parallel dazu formte sich auch das Modell des Social Entrepreneurship. CSE baut auf den vorhergehenden Konzepten auf und wurde von Austin, Leonard, Reficcio und Wei-Skillern definiert als: "The process of extending the firm's domain of competence and corresponding opportunity set through innovative leveraging of resources, both within and outside its direct control, aimed at the simultaneous creation of economic and social value." Grundlegendes Ziel von CSE ist es, die organisatorische Umwandlung von Unternehmen hin zu leistungsfähigeren Generatoren für eine soziale Verbesserung zu beschleunigen. In den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten durchlebte das traditionelle Konzept des gesellschaftlichen Engagements von Unternehmen (Corporate Philanthropy) eine bedeutende Entwicklung. Es entstand Corporate Social Responsibility mit einer Vielzahl verschiedener Labels wie Corporate Citizenship, Triple Bottom Line und strategische Philanthropie. Während es erhebliche Fortschritte gab, Unternehmen in die Corporate Social Responsibility einzubeziehen, stellte eine nationale Umfrage in den USA im Jahr 2004 heraus, viele Firmen haben Schwierigkeiten mit der Integration der CSR-Aktivitäten in ihre Organis
