Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Literatur, Werke, Note: 1, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Dieser Unterrichtsentwurf wurde im Zuge einer Lehrprobe im Fach Deutsch in einer siebten Realschulklasse erstellt. Basis der Unterrichtsstunde bildete die Lektüre "Nennt mich nicht Ismael". Die Arbeit mit Lektüren im Deutschunterricht bietet mannigfaltige Möglichkeiten zur Leseförderung und Stärkung des Leseinteresses, was eine der zentralen Aufgaben des Deutschunterrichts ist. In der hier vorgestellten Stunde stehen vor allem das Nachvollziehen typischer Handlungsweisen einer literarischen Figur in einem größeren Zusammenhang sowie die zwischenmenschliche Verständigung im Mittelpunkt. Dies wird in der hier vorgestellten Stunde gefördert, da die Jugendlichen bezüglich des Inhalts der Lektüre ihre eigenen Probleme und Wünsche wiederfinden und sich somit die Situationen, in denen sich der Protagonist befindet, gut vorstellen können. Ismael stellt zum einen den Prototypen eines Jugendlichen dar, der an sich selbst zweifelt, schüchtern ist und von Klassenkameraden gemobbt wird, wodurch er sich ausgestoßen fühlt. Andererseits beweist er in Kapitel elf sehr viel Mut, indem er couragiert eingreift, als ein kleinerer Junge von Barry Bagsley geärgert wird. Hierdurch können die Schüler die im Buch beschriebenen Situationen zum einen auf ihre Lebenswelt beziehen und sich somit mit sich selbst beschäftigen. Zum anderen ist Ismaels Situation jedoch nicht identisch zu der Lebenswelt der Schüler, wodurch eine gewisse Distanz zum Text gewahrt bleibt. Dieses Wechselspiel aus subjektiver Involviertheit und beim Lesen erlebter Alteritätserfahrung unterstützt die Schüler in ihrer Identitätsentwicklung. Der produktive Umgang mit den Inhalten der zuvor gelesenen Kapitel bietet hier die Möglichkeit, das eigene Leseverständnis begründet im Zuge eines Facebook-Kommentars zu verschriftlichen.
