Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich BWL - Offline-Marketing und Online-Marketing, Note: 1,3, Freie Universität Berlin, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Arbeit gliedert sich in drei Teile. Im ersten Teil werden die definitorischen Grundlagen geschaffen. Um die Chancen und Risiken der Partizipation für die Konsumenten zu beleuchten, muss zunächst eine Einordnung und Systematisierung des Teilens allgemein und der Sharing Economy erfolgen. Dieser Rahmen bildet die Grundlage für den zweiten Teil der Arbeit, in dem die Motive der Teilnahme und die Chancen und Risiken der Sharing Economy für die Konsumenten betrachtet und durch eine Potenzialanalyse abgerundet werden. Im letzten Teil folgt die Schlussbetrachtung, in der die Ergebnisse der Arbeit reflektiert und zusammengefasst und mit der Frage, ob es sich bei dem Phänomen um einen kurzfristigen Hype oder einen langfristigen gesellschaftlichen Wandel handelt, abgeschlossen werden. "Dem Kapitalismus fehlt der Feind", "Warum unser System am Ende ist" oder "Am Sterbebett des Kapitalismus" - die kritischen Stimmen zur aktuellen Wirtschaftsordnung sind laut und finden große Aufmerksamkeit in öffentlichen Debatten, wo Diskussionen über Grenzen des Wachstums und der Notwendigkeit einer nachhaltigen Regulierung geführt werden. Im Zuge dessen werden alternative Lebensstile propagiert, denen ein disruptives Potenzial unterstellt wird. Dazu gehört neben postwachstumsökonomischen Ideen auch Entwürfe einer eigentumslosen Wirtschafts- und Lebensweise. Dieser Wandel der Konsumgewohnheiten erhält mit dem Schlagwort Sharing Economy einen Namen - das Credo lautet Tauschen statt Kaufen und Leihen statt Besitzen. Dabei handelt es sich keinesfalls um eine neue Erfindung der Menschheit, sondern um eine der ursprünglichsten Formen des ökonomischen Austausches. Jedoch erhält das Teilen im digitalen Zeitalter durch die Technologieunterstützung eine ganz neue Qualität, die über den Familienverband und den Freundeskreis weit hinausgeht.
