These sources include chemical, thermal, hydro, nuclear, solar, hydrogen fuel cell, wind, tidal, geothermal, and biomass. Then, we visit other areas of technology, lasers, integrated circuit chips, superconductors, and nanotechnology, etc., which are based on modern physics. As we move on, we visit control technology. The development of this technology was essential to control our environment, control the energy sources, control industrial plants, develop new materials, increase productivity, navigate, and send satellites into space. Next, we visit computer technology, based on computer science and solid-state physics, which has ushered in a revolution in technology and brought us at the threshold of amplifying our intellectual capabilities.
