About the Book

When Kings Were Born Season 1: Kings Were Born and not Made: This is an emotional and touching real-life story of a little slave boy ''Ekwebelem'' who was sold into slavery by his kindred uncle but later came back and was crowned a King and ruled the people that sold him into slavery

This is a real live drama book depicting all that happened in the life of Ekwebelem who became the favourite among the slaves that were sold to the British colonial Masters to the extent that his slave masters pitied him and did not send him to the port of no return in the Mediterranean Sea.

This book contains all you need to know about African culture, tradition, music, and the way of life of the people of the Okwelle Kingdom, a village in the southeastern protectorate of the British colonial system of Nigeria.

When Kings Were Born is highly recommended for people from the civilized nations of the world who might be interested in learning about the way of life and traditions of the African people before 1800 and also black Africans or African Americans who might want to dig deep into African history, culture, slavery, and traditional music before and during the era of slavery in Africa.

This book was written in a typical movie/drama style with a lot of traditional music, songs, cultural dance, and the types of local musical instruments existing at time. When Kings Were Born season 1 is ground groundbreaking story filled with emotions, betrayals, traditions, culture of the people of Okwelle before and during the British colonial era in Nigeria. This movie script/ Drama book brings the true-life story of the little slave boy Ekwebelem to the home cinemas and the blockbusters in seasons screened and previewed on the major TV channels globally.

This drama book promises to emotionally bring to the story of the ordeal, sufferings, humiliations, discriminations, sufferings, miseries, agonies, and broken hearts these slave Africans and their parents suffered at the hands of the slave masters during the slavery era.

The little slave boy thought lucky to be one of the lucky slaves to have been pitied and freed by the hands of these slave masters was also trained by the people who were supposed to be his slave master's in law and was given a Western education that found him working in the law court of the British colonial Masters. The reunion with his parents, brothers, and relatives results in him helping his native people solve a mystery nobody was able to solve since he was sold into slavery. After this development the people demanded he return and rule them as a result Ekwebelem was crowned the empire King of Okwelle Kingdom and received the title Duruemezue the 1st of Okwelle.

This book is a masterpiece with a movie plot depicting what life was like before, during, and after the colonial masters. Those in the Western world might not know what life was like in the remote African villages during the 17th,18th, and 19th centuries hence this book is loaded with a lot of culture, traditions, and music that you might find absurd perhaps not, but it will be a real-life experience if you happen to grab a copy of the book which is premiered currently in the cinemas.

The book was written in seasons and acts and will continue to run in cinemas for a long time.

I strongly recommend you purchase a copy of this book and then look out for it in the cinemas.
