Länder - Mittelalter, Frühe Neuzeit, Note: 2,0, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn (Institut für Geschichtswissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Historische Kriminalitätsforschung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Vergehen "Kindsmord" im historischen Kontext der Frühen Neuzeit bildet den Ausgangspunkt für die zugrunde liegende Arbeit. Ziel der Arbeit ist es herauszufinden, ob und warum der Kindsmord das Schlüsseldelikt der strafrechtsreformerischen Bestrebungen in frühneuzeitlichen Prozessen des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts darstellt. Anhand von makrohistorischen Interpretationen, ausgehend von statistischen Befunden ist der Versuch, entstanden, das Verbrechen mit der Entwicklung von Gesellschaft, Staat und Kirche zu verbinden. Zeitgenössische Vorstellungen von Moral, sowie Werten und Normen/Gesetzen können mittels Primärquellen rekonstruiert werden. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein immenses Aufkommen an Primärquellen in Form von Prozessakten, Urkunden, Verträgen und dergleichen. Die detailreiche Auswertung der einzelnen Fallbeispiele ist zwingend erforderlich, um ein flächendeckendes Bild der frühneuzeitlichen Ordnung zu konstruieren und Aussagen über die Epoche im größeren Zusammenhang treffen zu können. Die verwendete Forschungsliteratur wurde beinahe ausschließlich von Otto Ulbricht verfasst. Er gilt als Vorreiter in der Kindsmorddebatte und untersuchte das Vergehen und dessen Bestrafung im kulturellen Kontext des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts. Otto Ulbricht ist Professor für Geschichte an der Universität Kiel. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Kriminalität, Pest und Armut in der Frühen Neuzeit. In seinen Publikationen "Kindsmord in der Frühen Neuzeit" und "Kindsmörderinnen vor Gericht - Verteidigungsstrategien von Frauen in Norddeutschland 1680-1810" erläutert er explizit den Tathergang, die Lebenssituation der Angeklagten und definiert den "Kindsmord" auf rechtlicher Ebene. Neben der Arbeitspraxis bei einer deutschsprachigen Tageszeitung in Budapest (Pester Lloyd) bekam ich zudem einen Einblick in die Arbeit des europäischen Parlaments in Brüssel. Nebenbei schaute ich dem Europa-Auslandskorrespondenten Detlev Drewes über die Schulter und erhielt somit einen Einblick in die journalistische Arbeitsweise und das aktuelle politische Tagesgeschehen. Darüber hinaus verbrachte ich ein Auslandssemester in Barcelona. All diese Dinge führten dazu, dass sich meine Leidenschaft für Kultur, Reisen, Politik, Psychologie und Philosophie fortan in meinen Texten wiederspiegelte und der Drang danach, die Dinge zu hinterfragen, ins unermessliche stieg. Gerade der Lobbyismus in Brüssel weckte mein Interesse und Motivation. Außerdem war ich in der Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung tätig und konnte mir auch dort einen Einblick in die, meiner Meinung nach, festgefahrenen Strukturen unseres Systems verschaffen. Dieser Blog ist also eine Zusammenfassung meiner praktischen Erfahrungen und theoretischen Gedanken, die ich im Laufe der Zeit gemacht habe.
