Die Grundthese der vorliegenden Untersuchung lautet: Das durch eine phanomenologische Analyse und Hermeneutik des Lebensvollzugs des Kindes erorterte und onto-anthropologisch reflektierte "Kind-Sein" ist nicht exklusiv der zeitlich-biographischen Phase des kindlichen Lebensalters vorbehalten, sondern erweist sich als das personale principium im Sinne der bleibenden Grundwirklichkeit menschlichen Daseins, das der Mensch in jedem Lebensalter in je spezifischer Art und Weise als gegebene und aufgegebene Grundthematik seiner Existenz in Gestalt der Selbigkeit von Spontaneitat und Rezeptivitat vollzieht. In diesem Sinne ist Kind-Sein keine Phase, der man einfachhin entwachsen konnte, kein Anfang (initium), der nach der Kindheit im Sinne des zeitlichen Kindesalters endet. Dementsprechend handelt es sich in der Untersuchung nicht um den Entwurf einer Theorie der Kindheit. Weder wird eine Analyse von Kindheit im Sinne des Kindheitsbildes intendiert, das sich eine Epoche, eine soziale Gruppe oder auch ein Einzelner macht - sei es das Bild von Kindheit als eines Projekts, einer Fiktion, einer Utopie oder eines Mythos -, noch stellt die Beschreibung der Kinderalltage und Kinderwelten die genuine Aufgabe der Arbeit dar. Ebensowenig geht es darum, die Geschichte des Konstruktes "Kind" zu rekonstruieren. Vielmehr bewegt sich die Arbeit im Raum der Philosophischen Anthropologie, bezeichnet Kind-Sein doch das fortwahrende Konstitutiv menschlichen Daseins uberhaupt, einen Anfang (principium) also, der bleibt, der sich durchhalt, der nicht als ein geschichtliches Relikt, sondern wesenhaft fortbesteht. Ist Kind-Sein aber principium des Menschen eines jeden Lebensalters, dann ist es notwendigerweise auch Sinn- und Massvorgabe allen verantwortlichen padagogischen Tuns. Deshalb offnet sich der in dieser Arbeit vertretene philosophisch-anthropologische Ansatz zugleich der padagogischen Fragestellung. Mit anderen Worten: Die Philosophische Anthropologie des Kind-Seins gestaltet sich Schritt fur Schritt zu einer Padagogischen Anthropologie des Kind-Seins aus. Ziel ist es zu zeigen, dass der Mensch eines jeden Lebensalters nur von seinem Kind-Sein her und zusammen mit ihm sich aussagen und sein Leben leben kann. Der Mensch wird niemals mehr als ein Mensch, doch wird er mehr, wahrhaftiger und wirklicher Mensch in dem Masse, wie er der einen Vollzugsgestalt der Selbigkeit von Spontaneitat und Rezeptivitat in der Vielfalt ihrer lebensalterspezifischen Wiederholungen verpflichtet bleibt.
