The plot is so rich and detailed. Yet, it moves quickly. Wonderful setting and an excellent narrative. Felt like an Indian Agatha Christie. Recommenced! The first thriller I absolutely loved was Before You Breathe. A Will to Kill has been written in the style of Agatha Christie, Edgar Wallace amd Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - a mysterious mansion with a dark past and a heavy mist that conceal more than it appears. The synopsis of the book attracted me heavily towards this book and I was hooked onto it since the first page. The story follows a detective, Athreya, who has been invited to a family mansion. Now this mansion is no ordinary one, it actually has a dark past where all the previous owners died of mysterious circumstances. The local believe the mansion to be haunted or cursed and thus, the violent nature of the deaths. The writing of the book was amazing and the story developed with its own pace. We are introduced to various characters with their different background stories. An unexpected twist occurs and after that I was totally engrossed in the story and wanted to finish it fast to know about the killer. I think you will absolutely love it if you are a mystery/crime lover.
