Kid Inventors(R) is an educational comic book series. It brings you to a fantastic adventure with a group of schoolkids in the future. The comedy, mystery, adventure, creative ideas, and scientific educational concepts are naturally blended in every story.

Story: Eddy and his schoolmates Jenny, Webby, Coddy, and Intty, as well as Eddy's sister Dotty and other kids, each have different skills, and they have strong desires to learn and invent! To make their inventive projects to participate student invention competitions, they face a lot of difficulties and challenges. They have a lot of cool ideas, but they have no tools, no money, no facilities, and most important, not enough knowledge and skills because of their age! But they never give up. They formed an invention team named Kid Inventors. They keep trying and learning from their mistakes. With the help from their parents, teacher Kaity, engineer Robby, and industry sponsors, they made numerous interesting creations...Along the way, you'll find more AI robot characters created by kids one after another: Smaro, Mr. Unbeatable, Shogogo, Suparo, Meearo, Cuoobal...Together they made international robot competitions, space journeys...Suddenly, they are finding mysteries and approaching dangers...the evil robots and their horrible creatures...To save the world, they start their adventure...
The conflicts between their wild innovative "great ideas" and their limited knowledge create a lot of funny stories!

The Mission: The mission of Kid Inventors(R) comics is to encourage curiosity, learning desire, creativity, teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and community contribution for today's young people to create more geniuses like Steve Jobs, Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, and Elon Musk in the future. Early-age education is very important for students to attract them to the technical/STEM field because most famous scientists and inventors started their advanced learning and creating practices at early ages. But learning science and technology may not be an easy and fun thing for many kids. These stories provide a fun and interesting way to attract children to explore their imagination and interests in STEM areas.

Unique Features: This book uses a mix of cartoon panels and descriptions including theme, emotion, and technical descriptions such as notes, hints, ideas, and mentor's explanations to help readers better understand the background of each story. Kid Inventors(R) stories tells us to never give up our dreams, which are emphasis on creativeness, teamwork, society contribution, hands-on, and learning from mistakes through a thinking-working process to reach the goal. The stories will continually grow with the technology advances in the incoming volumes.

The Author: The Kid Inventors(R) Comics and Animations including literature and artworks are all original work created by Edmund Shen. Edmund is a technologist, engineer, new-product development leader, artist, and art and science educator in Silicon Valley, California. He likes to make and create hands-on models, electronics, and artworks since his childhood. He completed his master's degree in engineering, and he has been working at several famous US hi-tech and start-ups companies in Silicon Valley. He has created, designed, co-designed, or led many new-product development projects in hi-tech areas throughout his career. Inspired by the passion for creativity and technology innovation from his childhood to his career in Silicon Valley, Edmund created some early-stage Kid Inventors(R) comic stories for educational purposes for the children's science camps and creative art classes he's taught, which received pretty good feedback from students and parents. Then he started developing Kid Inventors(R) comic series.
