About the Author: Darla Hogan was born in Southampton, England. He worked for over 25 years as a Physics teacher in the UK, before realising a dream and starting his own business. He currently owns and runs Hogan's, a sandwich shop in Blackpool (an obvious connection?). Darla has always been passionate about reading and enjoys many genres, including short stories and Science Fiction. As an avid reader he thought he would turn his hand to writing, which we at Kensington Gore publishing think he has a considerable talent. He is modest and like all other good writers he feels he is learning each and every day the skills and craft of a writer. In 2011, Darla began working on a novel, titled 'Perfect Creation: Book 1 Adolescence'. This is the first book of a series of four books that will be published as three volumes and available through 2015-16. Book One is currently available on the Kindle platform and in paperback format from Amazon. http: //amzn.to/1eH1E5H Darla is now working with a co-author, Mia Zielinska, on completing this epic Science/Fantasy novel. During the period of rewriting and editing of Perfect Genesis. Darla has written over thirty short stories that fall into the Horror and Paranormal genres. Darla intends to write more of these stories and the first set is now published by us Kensington Gore Publishers and the first volume has topped the amazon UK short stories chart. Darla has signed up for at least a further two volumes of his scary short stories which will become available over the next two years. Horror is something he longs to return to and short stories are to some a dying art form we believe Darla's writing give it a much needed new lease of life.
