About the Book

The year is 1919 and terrible storms are battering the New Jersey coastline. They threaten to swallow the Barnegat Lighthouse whole. The keeper, Henry Jones, an old stubborn army veteran, is all that stands between the lighthouse and doom. It is a quiet existence for Henry until Thomas Dent appears. He is an escaped convict and a mystery to the keeper. But there is something about the lighthouse that draws Thomas in. He seeks a second chance at becoming a better man. The keeper uncharacteristically takes on the lost soul as his assistant. The two men separated by decades of life slowly find a common ground as the keeper teaches Thomas about life. Pasts are never too far behind and Thomas's catches up with him. The evils of yesterday pose a threat to Thomas and the new life he has worked so hard to build. The keeper too battles demons of long ago and the men stand side by side as they battle dangerous storms and their pasts. On one dark night, during a hellish ice storm, the world seems as though it may end for everyone in an epic conclusion to this dramatic tale. Keeper of the Tower is an extraordinary tale of love, suspense, thrilling action, intense drama and the unbreakable bond two strangers can create.
About the Author: A dedicated life long writer of screenplays and books, I always feel proud and humble to share my many stories with the world. I hope everyone enjoys reading them as much as I truly enjoy writing them. I currently live by the Jersey Shore with my 8 crazy roommates: my beautiful wife, my 4 insanely amazing children, my 2 small yapping dogs and one moody fish. Born in Brooklyn, NY, my journey has spanned the entire United States (at least in distance). I was born on the east coast but my family moved to the west coast when my Uncle, Neil Scott Bogart, successfully ran Casablanca Records and launched such amazing acts as KISS, Donna Summer and Village People. I grew up in the shadows of Hollywood, CA and eventually made my first feature film in 2007 entitled "2 Hitmen." I transplanted my family to the east coast the same year so I could raise my children close to my own roots. My first book, a biography, "Going Platinum: KISS, Donna Summer and How Neil Bogart Built Casablanca Records" was released in November of 2014 released by Lyons Press. My award winning fictional story "Jacob" arrived in January of 2015 as Volume 1 of my "Extraordinary Character Collection." I most recently released book one of "The Connolly Affair" trilogy, subtitled, "The First Dance." 2015 will continue to be a busy year as I have two more books on the horizon. A circa 1920 thriller entitled "Keeper of the Tower" due out late summer/early fall. I also have the 2nd book in "The Connolly Affair" series due out late this fall. I look forward to continuing to share my amazing stories from my romance-suspense series to my "Extraordinary Character Collection." Happy reading world!
