Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 2,0, Hochschule Niederrhein in Mönchengladbach, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In den Elternhäusern vieler Jugendlichen besteht ein Mangel an Fürsorge und Geborgenheit. Eltern sind berufstätig und/oder alleinerziehend und fühlen sich dadurch mit der Erziehung ihrer Kinder überfordert (Jugert/Rheder/Notz/Petermann 2007: 5). Während der letzten Monate konnte bei vielen Jugendlichen während des Sozialkompetenztrainings beobachtet werden, dass sie zu Beginn der Schulwoche ein unkonzentrierteres Verhalten als zum Ende der Woche zeigten. Fragen über die Wochenendgestaltungen wurden häufig mit der Erreichung neuer Level in Video und Computerspielen beantwortet, was wesentliche Einblicke in die familiäre Wochenendgestaltung gab. Durch das Fehlen einer Bezugsperson weisen einige Jugendliche Defizite im Bereich der sozialen Kompetenzen auf. Diese Defizite wirken sich besonders negativ auf das gesellschaftliche, berufliche und private Leben aus. Dies wird im Verlauf der vorliegenden Arbeit noch näher erläutert. In den neuen Bildungsplänen von NRW ist die Vermittlung sozialer Kompetenzen mittlerweile vorgeschrieben. Die Schule soll also möglichst versuchen, die Defizite der Jugendlichen aufzufangen. Jugendliche sollen in der Schule durch stabile Beziehungen zu Lehrern oder sonstigen pädagogischen Fachkräften und durch speziell ausgerichtete Konzepte diese Defizite im Bereich der sozialen Kompetenzen vermindern und auch abbauen. Es hat sich jedoch gezeigt, dass die Vermittlung sozialer Kompetenzen im Regelunterricht schwer zu integrieren ist. Die Lehrer sind an einen straffen Lehrplan gebunden, in dem die Störungen durch Schüler und die damit verbundenen Klärungsgespräche nicht eingerechnet sind. Somit muss die Vermittlung der sozialen Kompetenzen über andere Wege erfolgen. Eine Form der Kompetenzförderung sind speziell dafür ausgerichtete Trainings, die sich mit dem Bereich der Erlebnispädagog
