Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Gesundheitswissenschaften - Gesundheitspsychologie, Note: 1,7, IU Internationale Hochschule, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Forschungsarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, inwiefern Nudging zu einer positiven Änderung des Gesundheitsverhaltens beitragen kann, beziehungsweise sich als wirkungsvolles Instrument sowohl im Gesundheitsbereich als auch im Ernährungsbereich eignet. Die theoretische Vorarbeit erfolgte mit einer Literaturanalyse. Die empirischen Daten wurden durch Experteninterviews erhoben und anschließend im Rahmen einer qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse ausgewertet. Die Forschungsarbeit zeigt die aktuelle Lage der Nudging-Diskussion und stellt fest, dass Nudging ein sehr attraktives verhaltensökonomisches Instrument ist, sofern es korrekt eingesetzt wird. Die Ergebnisse lassen den Schluss zu, dass sich Nudging-Maßnahmen viel stärker an Zielgruppen oder Einzelpersonen orientieren sollten, um erfolgreich zu sein. Die neuen Erkenntnisse aus der Praxis tragen außerdem dazu bei, dass die teilweise sehr theorielastige Diskussion mit Praxisbeispielen ergänzt und so realistischer wird. Das Potenzial von Nudging in der Coronavirus-Pandemie und das Thema Manipulation sind zwei von weiteren wichtigen Themen, die (neue) Aufmerksamkeit verdienen. Die Ergebnisse erlauben, den Titel dieser Arbeit mit "Ja" zu beantworten. Verhaltensökonomische Erkenntnisse haben in den letzten Jahren an Bedeutung gewonnen - nicht zuletzt durch die Arbeiten von Thaler und Sunstein. Anfangs beschränkte sich die Regulierungsdiskussion vor allem auf einige englischsprachige Industrieländer, wie die USA oder Großbritannien. Inzwischen hat sich der Nudging-Ansatz weltweit verbreitet und im privaten wie im öffentlichen Sektor Befürworter gefunden, wie beispielsweise die deutsche Bundesregierung.
